Our treatment philosophy is geared toward preventing future eye problems. We treat patients of all ages and we offer a broad range of treatment plans, ranging from the most basic to the state of the art. Our eye therapy addresses:
·oculomotor inaccuracies ·convergence insufficiency ·accommodative insufficiency ·controlling nearsightedness ·fixation difficulties
We understand the importance of providing these services to our patients in the most timely fashion. Children require age appropriate eye skills to become good readers.
Computer users suffer from eye strain and blurry vision following a day of computer use.
Night time driving becomes difficult after a day of close work.
Visual therapy does not strengthen eye muscles, therapy is design to allow the eyes to use the natural sequence required to focus or track. No teacher or parent teaches eye movements or focusing from near to far, it is assumed these skills occur developmentally. A comprehensive eye exam is required to evaluate these skills. Do not allow 20/20 acuity be the only criteria of the eye exam.
